Northeast Security Alliance-NESA

It is the intent of the NEIA, through the support of local businesses, to significantly reduce all criminal activity within our neighborhood to ensure that our industrial area maintains its status as the premier business location in Kansas City.

With the above in mind, through NESA the NEIA has partnered with the Kansas City Police Department, which provides a marked police vehicle and fuel, and hires off duty officers to patrol the streets of our business community, and the businesses of NESA members specifically.  These off duty officers will perform normal police duties in marked police vehicles thanks to KCPD – the important exception being that these officers will be strictly dedicated to the businesses that help fund this program as members of NESA. 

Service includes an average of four (4) nights per week, eight (8) hour security patrol.  The more members of NESA there are the less the cost per member property.  The operating year runs from October through September.  The only requirement to be a member of NESA is that you are a current paid member of NEIA and your business is located within the geographic boundaries of the NEIA.
